Hyundai and Kia Forum: how do i know if i need to replace the water pump on a 2000 kia sephia?

Default how do i know if i need to replace the water pump on a 2000 kia sephia?

the pulley wheel fell off while i was driving and all of the pulleys turn except the two under the water pump pulley. does anyone know if that is supposed to spin by hand or will it only spin when the car is running?
