Default I have Hyundai Azera 2008 and ESC OFF light and MIL light are on...?

I have Hyundai Azera 2008.
Last night, after I filled my gas at the gas station, MIL (Malfunction Indicator Light) light was on.
In the beginning I did not notice it and about 20 minutes later, ESC OFF light was on.
And then all of the sudden, the car starts slowing down..
I tried to push the accelerator but it won't work so I had to pull the car to the side..
I turned off the engine and restarted..
MIL sign was still on but ESC OFF light was gone so I drove again.
but 15 min later, ESC OFF came on again and then I couldn't drive the car again...

Do you know what happens to my car and how can I fix it?
What is exactly MIL and ESC OFF sign mean?
Someone told me I should check whether my gas cap is tightly closed so I closed it tightly..
but even after I closed it, MIL sign will not be off...

Please let me know if you know the answers to my question =)
