What is the towing capacity of a Kia Optima 2011 SX turbo?
I want to tow my sport bike (500 lbs) on a stinger motorcycle trailer (200 lbs), which has a combined weight nearing 700 lbs with my car. Considering other incidental weight, it should be under 1000 lbs (grand total). The car manual does not list a tow rating. The tow weight, however, is comparable to that of 4 other passengers. What other special considerations must I think about before attempting this?
