is the 2011 kia optima sx a good car?

i am getting a new car soon. & i was thinking about getting the kia optima sx. but i can't decide if it's a good car for someone going to college or what?
oh & by the way, i'm a male & 17 years old. would girls make fun of me if they walk out to my car & see that it's a kia optima?

Also Acuras are really nice. They are expensive to work on though. But it is a bullet. It also saved my life..
