Is the Genesis sedan going to replace the Azera?

I love what I see and read about this new Genesis sedan...full-size, rear-wheel drive, V8, but can't help but wonder if it's going to take the place of the smaller, V6 powered Azera which is Hyundai's flagship right now. Seems kind of silly to have 2 midsize V6 sedans (Sonata and Azera).

Unless Azera sales plummet that is not going to happen, and Azera sales have been going up each year since its release in May 2006. The Genesis is just the next step up, there's no reason Hyundai can't have 5 car models that are distinctive. Now, some may see the Genesis and Azera as too similar like many say about Nissan's Maxima and Altima, but the owners can easily tell the difference. Yes, the Genesis will be the new flagship car for Hyundai, but the Azera is here to stay, btw, the Azera is not a mid-size car, its classified as a large sedan by the EPA.
